I might be going to this newsy, digital-ly BarCamp in Philly this weekend with a couple of Pennsylvania friends from the Patriot-News.

It makes sense to go to this event since its relatively close, and especially since I have major doubts that I will be going to ONA in San Francisco in October for a couple of reasons: money, money, money, don’t like five-hour plane rides [even if it's on Virgin, still don't like them], and money.

Except getting to Philly from D.C.—if you don’t have a car—seems like an adventure I don’t want to take. I read a message thread on Yelp about the challenges of getting there. I could just rent a car. Or take Amtrak. Hopefully, Philly will be one of its weekly fares that goes up on Tuesday.

Anyways, if you know of any feasible (and cheap) ways to get to Philly, and that doesn’t involve hitchiking, taking a Chinatown bus at 1:30 a.m., or other scary questionable methods, let me know.
