I don’t want to retroblog too much, so I’ll nail down the highlights of the past two weeks from when I last blogged:

• I started a new job here in DC.

• My computer broke. For the third time. And because this is motherboard problem #3, the repair center kept it and gave me a credit for a new one.

• My awesome-for-2006 broken laptop basically depreciated by 50ish percent, so the credit was meager but appreciated.

• Despite paltry credit, I bought a Mac. This is a big deal since I’ve been raised on PCs since I was 4. I was using MS-DOS to get to C:/games/jeopardy for hours on end when we were living in New York.

• I did my taxes. (Not all that interesting, but will help subsidize el Mac.)

So that’s basically the month of March in a nutshell. I’m ready for April. And for some consistently warm weather in D.C. And some good news about the media industry.
